no smoking please (and plus plus plus plus)

let me show you something interesting i found during one lunch time. hahaha..

i locked this page bcoz....

i'm so sorry everyone that i locked this blog for sometimes. i was thinking to design something for the header and make it a surprise comeback T_T but huh...2 weeks passed and no idea at all. i was stucked one week with the thought 'what could represent me best? who am i actually?' then another week think, 'no, it's not necessary what i think about myself. it should be what i wanted to be seen by other.'

yaha...that's the part and puzzle of 3 years education in TOA. branding excersice. Paul Arden's book open up my eyes too. we all are doing advertising. we all are trying to 'sell' ourself, our ideas, our beliefs, ect ect.

it is a shame if i couldn't make something pretty for myself.

gyaaaaahhh~ brain frozed.

8 months of being curly

is 8 months long of never touching comb

brushing extra money in -oil treatment form- to my hair

being a human puddle

getting my hair color changed naturally to dark brown (which i like actually)

liking the way my curl -curled up and the fluffy-ness

being told that my hair looks good on me

struggling with entangled hairs +the dead hairs that stucked on it

and also,

finally being told that i should just use my hair to sweep the floor instead of using broom

thus i made up my mind and get a $32 cut by a batu pahat guy

and i like this new cut :) *well, the only set back is it's shorter than what i initially wanted to have -which make me looks so similar to another girl in the office. i hope she doesn't mind

~me nita jason taoken~

special thanks to TaoKen, whose remarks opened up my eyes. to Jason, who had been telling me to cut my hair since few weeks ago. and also to nita, whose silent agreement upon taoken's remark made it all clear to me.

love might be blind, but as long as you keep your ears open to other's opinions then you will be fine. (*i had never love my hair like this before.. that's why i took so long to decide compare to last time)

monorail vs mrt?

Last Sunday, after buried myself in books and never stepped outside the house since the day before, I decided that I need a proper meal (*huh, I starts to bcome like hocksoon on weekends) so I went to SAM *Singapore art museum and to orchard road for a walk.

I took MRT and while I was on the escalator going out the station -and the mrt was leaving the station- I overheard a little boy, who stood behind me asked his mama in an animated voice,

“Mama mama, why is the mrt moves so fast?”

“Because, it needs to send a lot of people to their destination so it have to move fast.”

It took a while, but his respond surprise me,

“Then why monorail is so slow?”

I was thinking hard, ‘what will I answer if he ever asked me that question? Probably something like –technology gap?’

But his mom definitely gave an excellent answer that won’t make him think badly of either one

“Monorail is slow because it wants to let people see the scenery of the city.”

There I realize: it is not just being a creative director of Saatchi&Saatchi requires you to be super creative. Being a mother requires even more. Pheew~ perhaps that was the fact about monorail and I was being ignorant, anyway good job auntie! I’m so impressed :D

last friday nite

hoh~ my last friday night was good, rather unexpected i will say.

i went to indonesia cultural festival night, my old junior-highschool friend asked if i want to go.

i agreed without much knowing what will i encounter there... note* this friend is somebody i haven't met for...6 years? we did chat at msn sometimes. sometimes lo.. and we weren't close at all. still i really appreciate that he initiated to meet up.

the show was a musical drama about love between a rich guy with humble girl. so everything evolves around them who works out their differences and becoming a better person. the choir, the dances, the songs, all were not bad. *maybe bcoz i dont have particular expectation?

anyway it turns out we didnt really have much to talk about, and i guest he was tired bcoz didn't slept well the night before. the shows starts at 7 till 11 and it didnt allows us to get a proper dinner.

to be honest he is still good looking as-compare-to my memory. he was our batch's heartthrob, simply because he was top at studies, sports, and good looking. oh, if you know THE FIRST CLASS, the local show, he reminds me of the lead actor-max loong. a bit la ok?

after the show we suppose to be parted way, but he insist to walk me till little india mrt station (my home is on purple line while his is on green line). and we were standing somewhere between little india (purple line) -bugis (green line) and because i am much more familiar with the road here (the theather is nearby my office) so i lead him to bugis and said, 'there's bus there to my house.'

i didn't lie, just that i was lazy to take bus so i walked to the bus stop which doesn't have bus to my house. so then i decided to take mrt with him. hmmp because he told me, 'i will walk you back.' just like a dialogue from the drama and i just feel funny, so i said, 'no, i will walk you back.'

why? simply because i'm pro -ELLA enchanted and not cinderella.

(and too..kinda feel guilty coz i didnt do a good job at chatting and we quite run out of topics)
then at interchange he still insist to send me back home and he really did get down, and so unexpected, he really indeed walked me home until the staircase lead to my unit.

wew~ we really made a super BIG round to reach my home. his home is dammit far, 1 hour plus trip, but still, perhaps he just didn't feel like taking back his words, or somewhat stuck with the traditional idea-of being a good guy- anyway,

it was a memorable experience :D *being sent home by car and by foot feels different ;p

BRISINGR

hoh~ i spent my weekend finishing BRISINGR- the 3rd from the INHERITANCE cycle. *the first one was ERAGON. and the ending took me by surprise: IT'S NOT THE END yet! apparently the writer was..too chiong hei...so he needs to extend it to the 4th and the last. *thus it bcome INHERITANCE cycle instead of INHERITANCE trilogy.

nevertheless, it is beautifully written with lots of details for the characteres. and i always like the part concerning the political talks. the-smooth-carefully-arranged conversation and politically-safe-challenging-statement. and i think from reading it my vocabulary increase *abit ;)

i start it after reading Harry potter 1st book. and to comparison, harry potter is fun and light. whereas BRISINGR is heavy and more description for the enviroments.

and now i want to read....TWILIGHT! the movie is coming out next year -i think. Here at Singapore, the last cycle of it,-THE BREAKING DAWN- just came out, so every bookstore put a stack of the series near entrance and thus it caught my attention.

but but..i should hold myself back for meanwhile, and reached for the last page my old bookS before i open-my-new-page-of-being-21.
