a distasteful dinner

yesterday night was a bad night. the food was nice, japanese noodle and japanese char siew. it was nice thought it had nothing similar to chinese one. it feels like eating tuna meat actually!

what so annoyed me is because...certain friend with certain bad jokes. to me 1-3 times is still within limit, 4-9 times is still ok, but beyond that, it's really terrible.

what happend was i ask my friend for dinner. i dont have much friend here. so it's always friend a or friend b.

i asked friend a for dinner and accidentally on the street bump into friend b, so i politely asked if he wants to join us for dinner and he said yes.

things get to become so distasteful when the dinner start and friend a keep hinting i have 'secret guy' and look at friend b. again and again keep saying to friend b 'you should date her more, she always said bored'

the thing is, i dont have much things to talk about, so whenever i meet friend, mostly i will talk about things around me, including people around me. so friend a had heard me told him about friend b. but he goes twist it around and saying 'does he have a chance?'

friend a is the type of guy that put girlfriend above other friends. so when i told him about another guy friends, the only thing that can relate to his mind is about romance. even so, couldn't he KEPT his mouth shut and tease me any other time? not infront of friend b??

geez. cant i just hang around with guy and just as friend? im not in denial. it's not like im 30 and desperate for a boyfriend. what's wrong with it?

and before we go into mrt, friend a said to friend b 'date her more la, she always said bored' then friend b said 'why dont u date her instead' and makes me feel like ball being thrown here and there. that's when i really cannot take it anymore and i walk away.

dinner alone is way better than being accompanied by such distasteful companion.

yoah~ friday night! this week, a special guest arrive at our office to do... internship.. one week internship... he is Louise, just graduated from high school at HK and his parents (boss' friend) wish that he could be exposed to different field before jumping to college selection. he wanted to do art. anyway... he ended up assigned to xbox whole week and nothing much to do except to follow boss attend meeting.

after 6 we went to vivo city, Tung Lok chinese food restaurant. bos ordered a set, which had 7 dishes + 2 deserts

2006_04_06 tingyun's bday

hehe! this is the 1st organized bday celebration we had at hostel. such a happy moment :)
it's Tingyun's 18 bday and we bought her apples as substitute for cakes.. (bcoz! she always had an apple for dinner. just AN apple you know!)

TOA Genting trip

6 July 2006, was my 1st time visiting Genting ^^ it was TOA term break trip (erm...i didnt get to go back hometown) it was a trip organized by Student department. friends that i know were only Nita and erwin. at the beginning of the day i mean.

i forgotten how much i paid, but it was worthed. most of them who joined are the 1st term juniors. (they are almost all one gang) so fun..

as for easier to move around, we are seperated into 6 persons team, and i get to know 3 new friends :) Yeong, Royce, and Joanne

Royce is the connector. he is a born salesman. 5-10 mins talk and you will feel as if he is your best friend ever. yeong and joanne are juniors. yeong is a handsome shy guy (hahahaha he didn't talk much- perhaps because he is mandarin speaker) Joanne is his highschool friend. she is a mandarin speaker too, but she is a friendly warm type. so glad to get to know them.

*ah! it was very funny to remember how yeong at 1st-not-so-wanting-to get into the roller coster only at last after our ride he asked for more. haha!!!

*and how royce and joanne told us about those genting ghost stories. and about those tuyul used by gamblers.

it was really FUN :) that one day trip. including the night of walking in the dark streets (i forgotten why...but we did walk down to somewhere to catch the bus to home)

heehee..im running a marathon watch for inuyasha... i found a super nice website that able to play the video non-stop (so i dont need to click the next video with guilty feeling everytime one finish)

ah...thinking back what make this anime so interesting is because the idea of being rescued by Inuyasha everytime you get into trouble.

smokers and the victims

i hate smokers. i curse them, every single one of them, especially those that loves to smoke at public places, to go to hell asap!

i believe in our human right system, being a smoker is a free choice. i respect that.

but most of the time it's them who don't respect others non-smoker. if in spite of all anti-smoking campaign messanges they still decide to spend their money on cigg, go ahead. it's not my bussiness.

please, if you want to de-stress with cigg, smoke at somewhere- where you wont hurt anybody else.

nobody wants to be 2nd hand smoker. and the worst part is, you dont get to choose whether you want or dont want to be one.

*curse excemption for those who had manners.

KL tourist day

Jreng-jreng-jreng~~~~29 june 08 hahaha this is the tourist day for Edy, Kaemin and i who had actually stayed at KL for more than 3 years. haha... the only set back was the bad weather. other than that it was surprisingly fun ^^

Lunch at Insaf: recommended by Kaemin's indian uncle. surely a nice place, coz it's the 1st mama k ever i saw with a table signage 'reserved'. famous it's chicken curry and manggo juice.

so sad to know this building actually is empty now. i think it will be a great place for hotel or restaurant considering it's unique architecture and historical background. ups. forget it's name ^^; ah...then we cross the road to the opposite:

shitty job

3rd month working, and i am confirm this is a shitty job. designer is a shitty job.

i had been doing a cafe, which is from the start boss said: 'modern, they want something modern'
so i proceed with mood board (which is scaning images from magazine for sample of color choice, furniture choice, the feel of the space)

i go with white, light brown wood and green lime. boss said ok, then i proceed with 3D rendering.

then he said, 'not there yet'

and after struggling 5-8 times then only he came and give me an image, an orange color mood- and said, 'make it more exciting'

fine. so at the end, everything become orange dominated, less green and white. fine.

and guess what?

yesterday he called and said, 'the client cannot accept it. tone down. they want something more earthy tone, classy - brown gold- earthy tone la'

i think that it doesn't hurt if any stranger come to read my blog, i open it for public- which means i dont mind at all. but linking my blog to their blog without my knowledge is something else....

i think that it's not hard to leave a msg or anything saying:

'hey peggy, i link your blog to mine ya'

i will not say NO ok? i wont bite ok? you can even link it before i reply and say 'yes' because i feel that it's great that there are people-care enough to read my diaries.

it just that i feel upset that even this small gesture can't be done, is that mean im so insignificant to be noticed?
