how i spent my xmas weekend...

24! our office off already! what a good thursday...i spent half resting at home, and at night finally kili arrived!! and after put her luggage at my place, we hit orchard road! see the crowd! it was totally no joke!

thanks to the good hearted lady for saying, 'one more, i take a closer up one' this turns out good! the back drop is just so absolutely xmas! jia ann, kili, me, hui zhi

merry xmas! and so we started our tourist day out from city hall!

me and esplanade aka durian... can you belief it, i had been here one and a half year and we had not taken pic together? glad that you come kili!

and who dares to forget merlion? the sun suddenly came out and we got such a nice lighting!

nonstop taking pic with almost every single xmas tree we met is rather silly but hey!
once a year only! and this red and green is my fav!

and at 25th night..we manage to..visit sentosa and watch song of the sea!

then at 26! we randomly met a bunch of cosplayers! so happy!! see who i met!!

after satisfied with shooting cosplayer (hiks, i didnt manage to take pic with kakashi) tummy protest led us to shokudo inside bugis junction. the tofu cheesecake is nice! a very mild and rather chewy cheesecake! i like!

and at night jia ann and hoi zhi came to pick kili up! ahh~ so we went to merlion again~

yesterday was another idle day.

helping boss going to few places buying and delivering log cakes. nyum~

sent to few big clients. big in a sense that they make the company earn big bucks hahaha~

boss get log cakes 1kg for SGD50. from Ah Teng bakery at raffless hotel.

oh my, if you think the price and the brand justify the product..erm..not so sure about the taste, but the look =o= makes me question it really hard, 'why must we get from this shop?'

probably the taste must be super overwhelming that they didnt bother to decorate the cake into a more livelier or even makes the outer cream looks like strips - log cakes style. it was.. just like cream smear over the log. and that's it. looks bad seriously.

then dinner i went to a food court on my way to library. there was a indonesian BBQ chicken that last time i went there's a unbelievably long queue that makes me very curious about it.

lucky :) nobody in the queue when i went there and i got the chicken immediately.

nice one. really worth queuing for i will say! the chicken is good, the kecap manis is good, and the sambal is good, and there's a thin curry soup poured over the rice. hearty dinner

and national library is awe.some!!!

they have the book that i randomly found in internet!

and the librarians are ever helpful for helping me locating the code shown from comp search.

and yesterday seriously was the first time ever

i had ever feel proud

for knowing how to read bahasa melayu / indonesia.

the info im looking for is about malay house, and the librarian was looking at me, 'this book is in malay you know?'

i had a good monday

it was boring at the office with close-to-zero things to do

i played FB until sien, msn so sien, so i scanned some references

got some inspiration on how to refine my portfolio on the way to class

and the class turns out to be a fun one :)

after roller blading injury, i had stopped aikido for 3 months

last night was the 4th time, and i decided to attend 2 classes. the seniors are cool and helpful, i enjoy it very much :)

and the most amazing part was that i reached home right before a heavy rain fell. a super sudden and heavy one. Thanks God!

another 4 more days and i will meet kiki hehehe...

almost lost my voice and forgotten how to speak.

couldn't find words to say. just how tight my lips had become lately.

and feel even lonelier when i am in the crowd.

on average lately i talk around 10-20 words only in one day.

happiness?

i came across a blog from my friend's friends list.

i was overwhelm by her writing

couldn't had been closer to the old me.

who had been struggling with the term 'happiness'

had been envying why other could be so happy and i couldn't

had been so jealous to see happiness delivered to them and not to me

who had been miserable and up to the point i just want to fade away

she said she just deleted previous post about commiting suicide, solely coz she couldn't do that.

and mentioned that people keep telling her to find happiness from within

and she replied 'how can i be happy when i am not?'

truly understand every single words she wrote. had been there myself.

i posted a comment, hope that she will decided to try

i said, if you keep holding on to that question, you will never arrive at happiness. no matter how blessed you are in the current situation.

so i said, instead of saying that, why not change it to, 'how can i make myself happy when i am not?'

so i said, do things that you like! play, eat, hangout with friends, anything!

and the tricky part actually is this: appreciation.

so i said, do those things that you like and say, 'it makes me feel better, i appreciate it'

so, if she is now in -100, it wont make her +100, but slowly will pull herself up, -98 maybe?

hope she will open her heart and decided to do herself good.

because it cant be anymore true when it is said that 'happiness comes from within'

it is all depends on how we see things. our perception is the key.

OMG it's december already!

at the dawn of my 22nd year, this is the 1st time ever i had felt such a significant, reluctant feel of flipping my table calender from november to the last page: December.

too reluctant to my own surprise.

why, why, why do you asked?

only one thing that could drive you into this stage of mind. failure to accomplish goals that you had set early this year.

again, it is about me planning diligently but failed following the plans.

to said i had failed probably is too much, since there's still...26 days more?

at this point of time, i remembered what Donald said, (btw, it's Trump, not Duck :p) he said,

do not focus on your problems, but instead to the solution (or finding the solution) there's no problems too big to be handled. when you feel so, it is because you had been feeling tiny, or being tiny.

and of course followed by his famous phase, (beside 'you are fired!') 'THINK BIG'

seeing myself now, i am still far from grapsing the true meaning of that phase. and even further from being able to yield it with 100% strength from my spirit and mind.

ah....

enough rant. so focus on the solution.

sleep less and awake longer. awake longer for....excersice, reading, sewing, exploring, cooking (perhaps), upgrading wardrobe and my fashion sense, researches, study, mandarin, absorbing as much art sense as i can, soul searching,

for the sake of upgrading my soul, for the firmer tummy cells, for stronger character mold, for sharper mind.

what i saw is the idea that even if we are already with our soul mate, the destinied one, twin flame, or whatever you want to call it,

it wont work out if both party are not being honest and- yeah- working it out!

cheers to all couples out there, who are having quarrell, and thinking, 'is she/he trully my soulmate?'

the bottom line is, it wont work if you two are not working it out :)
