baking day (edited)

i couldn't sleep well the night before, and kept waking up, dream, woke up, dream again.. by the time i woke up around 8, i remembered i dreamt about baking cake. since it was a very FREE saturday.. hehe.. i decided to do some experiment :)


3 mins walk, i arrived at supermarket and grab flour, sugar, and eggs. i have ZERO knowledge in baking any cake, but my QuQu once told me 'just use flour, egg, and sugar, 1:1:1 then steam it'

well, i asked, just like that? she said, yes. just like that. sounds simple right! *Tempted*

i know that the eggs have to be beaten till it turns into white bubbles to make the cake rise hehe (not so Zero after all :p)
i grabbed brown sugar instead of the normal one because it's the only one in half Kg package.

i wasn't that sure if i should mix everything together then only beat it at once, or beat the egg 1st. after mixing everything together, i split it into 2 container.

since there's no oven at home...i will do the steam style :D

small fire for 30 mins, that's what i did for 1st round (plus all the little checking every 10mins)

TADaaaaaaaaa~

as you can see..the mixture didnt rise at all ToT hiks! and it have and extremely strong egg smell
which i cant take it. so i add flour for the 2nd round and bits water



2nd round! i put a smaller fire than 1st round, for 45 mins and didnt make any peeking ;p

T_T still lack of skills...i think i should had put some butter on the container before i pour mixture in

though it wasn't successful... the 2nd round is 5mm thicker than the1st round :p hehehe~

well, any tips anybody?

*anyway...before bake i had already thought of it, if it was unsuccessful, i can give it to the fishes or birds at the water drain near my house. and so i thought. you know, when i throw these all into the water, it was so heavy that directly plungged into the water (instead of floating like the bread we used to feed them) so the fishes ignore it :((

*nevermind, there's lots of birds can be my guest. so i thought. they were happy and gathered at the pieces of cake i threw at them. but. they poke it for few times, realize it was not soft, and turn their heads around.

T_T besok akan lebih baik....!hahaha~

2 nights ago i cried,

crying the same way as the last time i read the books from the same author

i recommend this book to everyone, as a light reading, though i think 'Five People you Meet in Heaven' and 'One More Day' is much more better than this

but considering this is based on the real life story, the meaning behind it is... more than fictional.

i want to say Thanks to God for arranging things for me, like i believed: things happen for reasons and that reason is all for your good.

yesterday i asked God for one thing. after that i stand at bus stop and waited the bus that normally come within 5-10mins for almost 25mins. then my senior called and told me he didnt have office keys so i walked back to lock the door. so then i thought, i didn't get the bus must be because i still have something important to do.

then the bus came, and on the way i received a phone call from unknown ID.

to cut it short, it was an answer to the request i made an hour ago.

had i been able to catch bus earlier, arrive at my destination, then i would have missed that call (because i would left my phone on the bag).

what i want to say is... things works in weird but wonderful way.

smell

do you know that before rain there's always a sweet smell in the air? a sweet and soft smell that i love so much.

when i was small i mistaken it as sea smell, only recently then i realize it's the rain that's coming :)

another smell that i love equally is the grass smell. or to be correct the wet grass smell. the smell that a lawn being watered. or when the dew still visible.

and another is the pine tree smell :)

ah... thanks God that even in such a big city i can still enjoy these things. or perhaps it's because im surrounded by high rise now that all these small things become important to me.

redang! i want!

a friend asked me if i want to go redang this april. OF COURSE!! BEACH! CRYSTAL CLEAR WATER! i am so wanting to visit redang!!! all the pictures i had seen are so so so blue and pretty!!!

GOD! i wish things will went smoothly and i can be there! amen!

these are cousins from my mom side~ after from bandar we went to a hang out place nearby and have some snacks

this is another day, i went back to my highschool again. yup correct, i went back to my highschool every year. surprise? ah because of it's charm. that's the library, my fav place to doze off, and mountain lokon next to it :D

this year i hardly meet up with any friends, only these 3. itin, me, vita and evelyn after karaoke

it has been so long since i post something worth reading here, anyway i just want to say happy cny to everyone :) i had a great holiday back at home. i shall upload the pics asap!

so glad that everything went smooth and i got to go to all the places i wanted to visit and eat all the stuffs i craved for (except for bakwan goreng! arg! nvrmind next year still can!)

ahh the poor news is when i browse through my camera...there's very little pics of me ;( bcoz everybody just enjoy being snapped and the photographer is happy coz the object is happy, and i forgotten myself! (ARG!) that's why it is really nice to hang out with someone who frame pics like a kai said~

and 2 days back to office, i had works to do! yay! *and the backset is always: when it's busy, everything come together ^^ but the relax side of me win over~ so..im blogging now at 6.30....

so happy yesterday got to help a friend brainstorming. out of some crap talk then we manage to made a decent-raw-story ^^ hope it will be a good one :D

this year goin back home i didn't hang out much with friends, and all that dampen my mood was because i didn't get a chance to meet a certain friend whom i regard as close but it turns out that she doesnt take me as i did. it upset me alot, to think that even for such a friend that i label as-close- and haven't met for 3 years didn't bother to put few hours to meet me, why would other do it for me?

ah, God knows, He plans out things for me and i did went out with few friends and so glad that though i didn't take them as close as that girl, they turned out to be a great companion and care for me.

time to re-check my eyesight and putting the right amount of care to the right persons.

the good part of that experience? it open my eyes bigger and i realize who are the persons that willing to put me 1st among the rest, and i will do the same to them as best as i can.
