ah, it's raining again now. the air is cool and im totally grateful!
yesterday dad and i went out for an errand, and afterwards he said, 'let's do some practice for your driving skill shall we?'
and we went to a -not-so-small-lane, but with a rather high slope at the end.
oh, had i mentioned that manado is rather a mountainous-contoured-city?
yes, i had been there before, and 2 years back, and i freaked out because the lesson was to change gear-when-you-are-up-the-slope. so with my untrained hand and leg coordination, of course the car did a little bit slide down when i change gear, and that's the part that made my heart skip a beat.
dad's not helping too with his shouting and gan chiong -ing.
yesterday was much more calmer though, but i still didn't perform well for the gear changing part. not fast enough. and up to a point where there's a junction, a car came out and i was blocking the way! couldn't figure out how i can quickly reverse the car to the side, we give hand signal 'sorry' and dad and i changed sit.
the lady was patient though, thank you very much! phew~
back home i help with the parking though *smug* bro taught me before, and i think iam pretty confident for this part because.......this is the scenario where there's no other cars, no other human, no other kids with their tricycle, or other cats jumping around.
*shy shy* okay la..reverse into parking slot is not that hard (or maybe because i was parking it into between our mini garden and porch, imagine if im to park it between two benz... @___@ maybe will gan chiong +1000x)
later will do some training again! i requested to go to some...more...flat ground...to train my gear changing course first! if it went smoother...i could do the slope thingy better mah! *excuse*
now i need to summon all the courage i will need.
oww..the rain had stopped....
