today dad mom and i went to Tomohon, to grab some famous-fresh fish from Sonder for lunch.

i had passed this road countless times, back and forth to my old dormitory at Kakaskasen, and went here too last month with friends and with family, but it was today that i thought of the landscape to be truly beautiful.

perhaps somehow i was comparing to the flat landscape of Jakarta or Singapore or Surabaya, today i found that the mountains surrounding Manado looks great and refreshing, together with it's lush greenery.

and the view from the higher point looking downward and seeing the sparkle from the sea surface is truly beautiful.

thought the quarter of the journey at the beginning was super heavy rain, it was bright and sunny at the town.

we went to Sonder for lunch, another half an hour drive from Tomohon. surely it worth all the trouble of getting there. the air crispness following the rain being back the nostalgic memory of high school time. the air was cold but that's the special part of being in Sonder.

the lunch was luxurious, because the fried ikan mas and woku ikan mujair were from the freshest of the freshest fish on this earth, being the restaurant literally stand on top of a huge fish pond. the deep fried was so well done that it was crispy on the outer yet the inner part remain thick with sweetness of the fresh fish meat.

Sonder besides bear the best cloves from all over indonesia, it has the best kangkung too. the different is, it remain green and crispy after the stir fry.

and i visited my old school again, walk one round and find that still very in love with that place.

some unhappy remarks from mom afterward, but i decided it is not worth frowning considering the blessing i had today. thank you universe!
