at the ring of the word 'shopping' most ladies get excited (and some men too though they are reluctant to admit :p oh, at least my bro is)

btw any guys reading this, dont frown or worry, im not going to brag about finding skirt or heels, but something else that we rarely come across (yet)

lately one of the project that i get to look closely on is a cafe. and it is surely much more fun than doing offices.

one of the reason?

i get to shop for fancy light fittings!

and this is the 1st time i go to such a big lighting shops with tremendous choices! *and it is so labyrinth like, the shop i mean! i was scared to be left alone at one corner thinking that some random monster might jump out from the wall behind and drag me away into their realm....hahhahhahaha~ it was a quite place, with lots partition, cant help it ar!

eit, at a glance it looks simple right? look at the right side, yes, that's a door! this bloody lamp is as tall as your normal door! 2.1 m!


this is a vase and a lamp that sticks together~ but it is absolutely 2 separate pieces of glasses i kinda like tis hehehe~


awesome! but i think it will looks brilliant for hotel or resto staircase!


dont play play! those glasses are real! you can use it if you run out of glasses to serve the guests!

rant: if i could turn back the time?

if i could turn back the time, to which point would it be?

i had been wishing that power ever since...6? 7?

i used to wanted to turn it back to my earliest day i had in my memory. back to the 1st place i had known as home, where the new place seems hostile and i couldn't help but keep wishing i would wake up and found myself back at the 'right' place.

then it changed to another point.

high school crush (lol) and the common regret of not having enough courage to blurt out my heart content. i wonder what would had happened if we got together.

'if only i had taken more consideration of the matters'

then after a while,

i started to think,

if i could really turn back everything, would i had learned the lessons i got from all those regret and memories?

i bet i wont. like some spoiled brat in comic, the one that always got their way, and thus- never learn. so now im not wishing for this power anymore. i wanted other power. mind controlling would be better XD XD XD hahahahhahha

lately : from my job

Little piece of wisdom from my job

Lately haven’t been writing much, work had been busy lately but slowly receiving the rewarding feel as I seen before my eyes the drawing in papers come into life.

Not to feel proud or anything near it, since the design is done by my senior. But for this particular project, I had been given chance to watch it more closely and learned few details

But one thing that struck deeply was in fact, has nothing to do with the design or monitoring work on site. Strange?

What I had learned lately is that… hmn…how should I describe this?

As the design progressed steadily, we advanced into choosing material. This time around, there weren’t much to choose. Only wallpaper and tiles.

So I browse through wallpapers catalogue we had, picked few suitable, and first step after getting boss’s nod over my selection, I have to check stock. As usual… we don’t have much time, so it is best to show client only those that ..ex-stock. Means that supplier has the quantity we want at their store.

So I called the office number and simply just asked for the stock. And I should have asked price too but I forgotten. (Next time, I will remember, check stock means check price as well!)

At one point, boss asked, who is the sales person serving us from the supplier. I simply said, ‘I just called the office and ask stock directly’ and boss said, ‘you know, it is good actually to find back the sales person, well, you know, since they had served us previously (as in…coming to office and bring catalogue and explain stuffs) so don’t waste their effort.’

At ‘don’t waste their effort’ – I felt a sprang of guilt. Deep down inside buried somewhere in my mind, of course, sales person earning depends from their sales record. But what made me avoid contacting the person directly is because few times before when I called to just check stock, they always do follow up and that’s means, calling you back after few days and asking how’s the thing going on.

I hated that. Since most of the time I don’t have answer to that. And I had meet one that irritatingly persistent.

But of course, they are just doing their job. As I did mine.

The wisdom is…to face instead of to run. Or else I won’t grow.

今天的我

今天早上我做了一件很笨的事

全都因为自己太紧张

马马虎虎得上出租车

过了几分钟才记得钱包里没有带多现金

跟糟糕得事是这个出租车没有 nets!

我一直以来都会觉得 ‘ 没带现金不是个大问题， 因为 nets 是很可靠的！’

就是今天我才知道

出门是一定要带现金。

还好driver 叔叔是个好人。

当我跟他说我身上只有 ten dollars.

他只说，‘别担心， 我送你到那边先。ten dollars 应该是够得。‘

到了site门口， 真的是刚刚好 ten dollars!

很奇怪的！

紧张得我就很放心也开心把最后一张 { 唯一的 } 现金给 driver 叔叔。

上天爷爷又救了我一命。谢谢您！

great eastern woman run 1st nov 09

and so, 1st nov came! and i woke up early and nervous and was struggling hard whether to go or not to go, and realizing it was pretty late already, so ended up i have to take taxi to the starting point.

great eastern woman 10km run! wait, since it was my 1st try, so i was only joining the 5km fun run. whe i got down from the taxi, i was lost in finding 'where is the starting point?!' and apparently lots of other ladies lost too, and we walked a big round till we found the starting point. phew, no wonder, race at 8 but must gather at 7.40....that's for people like me....buffer time to find the starting point is already a warm up XD not bad!

the sky was super gray and it rained a little... nice weather actually!(for running :p)
