just got a sales call from true yoga

blablabla

im so busy so i straight cut the guy and said, "im not interested in yoga"

"how come, you have never tried it"

"no, but i am not interested"

and he still try to hold the call by asking, "do you do any excersice?"

i said yes, i jog.

"oh, so you like to jog, like forest gump, do you know what is forest gump? 'run forest run forest'"

wtf

and boss even bothered to ask who was that.

indicating i was overly rude in my talk.

on second thought, i think he was right. but not that im apologic to the salesman. True yoga went busted sometime before about their contract thingy and received customers complain, so, im harsh but let's not waste each other's time.

lately i got irritated easily eh. probably this week started.

maybe pms, i dont know, seriously >.< but even if it is pms, this is terrible.

on happier note, today is my last day working. just cant wait to get out from this.

tomorrow going to KL for weekend trip.

im so tired and emotionally imbalance, regret (and coming to feel super regret) for agreeing the trip. im such a push over. why did i agree at the first place.

and tonight going for jumbo seafood with bosses and colleague for...farewell.

aiyoh. i feel so frustruated and im not being a good version of me. jumbo seafood and im complaining? wtf is wrong with me.

things i had learned today...

is about 'not-to-soak-your-cloth-too-long-coz-you-are-too-lazy-to-move-your-butt-to-wash-it'

hiks, i realized my pretty turquoise shirt had become loosen when i roll up it's arm this morning.

i had this bad habit of leaving the clothes soak too long and return sometimes after 24 hours to drain it and hang it.

coz the color keep coming out so i cant put it together with the rest in the washing machine so i had to wash it seperately.

weeks ago my landlord's son asked me a very enlighting question,

"then why do you soak it for so long? the color keep coming out you see"

omg

how funny i dont understand well until then, that the color keep draining out equals to my shirt loosing its color.

and eventually i learned that soaking it too long will resulted in it's fabric become loosen up.

the auntie who sold the warcoal bra told me that. she told me do not hang it from it's strap, and also do not soak it too long, few hours will do. i naively ask why not to soak it too long.

oh my...how enlighting. how had i live my life all these years?!

*bertobat* now i promise myself to not be so lazy about washing clothes manually!

last week my boss asked me to design a pantry, and i was happy and excited because...this office pantry is b i g comparing to other offices' pantry~ and boss give sign that i can do whatever i want because they have rather a good budget for it.

so happy! because i can take this as part of portfolio :) so i put lots effort in it hehehehe~ and i am glad it turns out looking good.

inspiration?

my dream destination: santorini island, greece. the white-est white and the royal blue color is so so so so refreshing! so i seize this opportunity to pour it into a-mini-cafe style.


cool right? i mean, the strong royal blue and blazzing white are both cool colour. but as long as we use yellow warm light fittings, or perhaps using a light brown-type of wood, it would feel cozier, a perfect type of pantry!do you know what my boss said?

change the wavey bench to straight.
add more colour.
make it more like bright, cheerful, like...mcdonald.

okay la, this one also work geh, but i still think the wavey bench make a better statement. and hello...it is not imposibble nor expensive to construct!

but for color scheme, i insisted and didn't do any changes.

each time he said, do something different, see other ppl can make it into magazine, we didnt; bla bla; bla;

but during these 2 years of my service, all his comments on my design is to cut here and there, change this to that, and in result?

nothing but ordinary and exactly same with e v e r y b o d y e l s e.

all these while i admit i comply to him because i looked down on myself and felt, "ah, let's follow what he said because he had all those 30 over years experiences and he is the one dealing with the client so perhaps i just lack of understanding."

how mistaken i am.

dont get me wrong, my boss is a nice person. but i think he is more into older taste. and perhaps after lots of ups and down he grow into a conservative style. afraid to push, and contradict himself saying we do not produce creative work.

what a joke. for i had made myself a joke all these while.

it's okay, i learned today.

annual leave thingy

oh...oh...learn new thing today

today's topic is 14 days of leave thingy.

so it is said one year you are entitled to 14 days of leave.

but my accountant said, it is to be spread into the whole 12 months.

so since i worked only until 18 weeks, i only get paid leave for the amount of 18 weeks.

which turns out to be 4.85 days paid leave.

oh.

If an employee has worked less than a year

An employee's annual leave entitlement should be in proportion to the number of completed months of service in that year (If the employee has been in service for at least three months). This entitlement also applies to an employee who has not been confirmed.

If an employee has worked for less than one whole year (i.e. less than 12 months), his/her annual leave should be pro-rated using the following formula:

(No of months in service/12) x 7

Periods of no pay leave should not be included when computing annual leave entitlement.

oh...i see....heehee..probably coz boss had been so cincai i didn't learn the proper system and ridiculously expecting to get extra 14 days pay ^____^; oh well, i had learned~ thanks to my accountant for patiently explaining it!

i am very lucky to be entitled 14 days instead of 8 days according to MOE webpage. my friend told me his company only give 8 days~ but the fun part for his company is that they collects public holidays all together (so when public on holiday they still work) and put it in an appointed month whereby everybody can be on long holiday and totally shut down the office. i think it is a pretty cool idea, all can plan for better holiday trip :)
